Knowing the spices in depth
The history of the world would not have been what it is without the existence of spices. And it is that they have been one of the most influential factors in the configuration of the world as we know it, being responsible for fundamental events of humanity. The discovery of (the America (s) by Christopher Columbus, the round-the-world tour of Magallanes-Elcano, the travels of Marco Polo, etc. are not originally but business adventures to obtain spices. And likewise, many of the Antiquity wars have been caused or conditioned by that voracious race of European nations to control the supply of spices. And today, although they are already a commodity available to almost everyone, there are not a few countries where its development and economy depends directly on the trade of some spice.
